With reference to my despatch No.22 of the 26th January last, I have the honour to inform you that I have received a memorial from Mr. W. Stanton, late Inspector in the Hong Kong Police Force, in which he asks that a Pension may be awarded to him on the allowance drawn by him as Examiner of Weights & Measures.
